The Dorset coast is famous as a superb location for windsurfing. Studland Bay itself provides great conditions thanks to the shelter of the Purbeck Hills. To make the most of the Bay you’ll need to paddle out a little –  and please take care to avoid any swimmers.  

To hire you will need to have windsurfing experience or hold your RYA Level 2. We don’t accompany you onto the water, so you need to be confident to ensure your safety. 

We will equip you with the kit you need to enjoy a windsurfing session – board, sail, ski vest and harness (if required). 

If you haven’t windsurfed before, but you’d like to give it a go, talk to one of the team. We occasionally hold beginner workshops which are ideal for an introduction to this exhilarating watersport, or we can organised a private lesson or group session.
